Otherwise known as a Breathalyzer, Breath Alcohol Test (BATs) are quite commonly used given that the test is easy to administer and provides nearly instantaneous results. BATs provide a current-moment snapshot of the body’s blood alcohol content. Providing accurate results every time, our certified staff only administers DOT-approved Evidential Breath Testing devices (EBTs). Procedures are meticulously controlled to ensure that all results are admissible in a court of law.

For rare cases an EtG test can be administered to determine if alcohol has been consumed over a 3 day period. EtG’s are typically reserved for individuals undergoing a court-ordered sobriety or alcohol rehabilitation program.

CJ Cooper & Associates offers a saliva specimen alcohol test in addition, to breath and urine testing. Saliva alcohol test can provide immediate results.

Tired of Managing Your Own Drug Testing Program? We can help!

Implementing your own drug and alcohol testing program can be a challenge. No matter the size of a company, employer’s face compliance issues that include state laws, federal laws, OSHA and other agency regulations that must be met – and these rules change over time.

To make sure your drug program is compliant with state and federal regulations, it involves a lot of research, planning and administrative work – all of which can be costly and time consuming.

As Joe Reilly, past Chairman and board member of the Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) said in an article, “drug and alcohol testing is serious business; it is not like buying office supplies where you get the lowest price for 100 staplers. You need a drug testing program with many moving parts and you need service, compliance, accuracy and someone who will answer the phone.”

Remember: You don’t hire a plumber to do your electrical work, so why hire an urgent care clinic to do your drug testing?

As a Best-in-Class Consortium/Third Party Administrator (C/TPA) and collection site, CJ Cooper & Associates is proud to be entrusted to manage our customers’ drug and alcohol testing programs in a variety of industries.
